So do a lot of restaurants, especially good ones. We were celebrating a birthday and this experience ruined our night. I will never again visit one of these restaurants - and sadly the food was tasty. The employees here have ZERO idea of what customer service is. The manager said, "that's his opinion, not mine." So she was lying to us. Also the bartender told my husband that they can absolutely credit customers for food in there is a negative experience. "Who do you work for? Don't you have to follow policies?" When we went to the bar to pay (because surprise they never brought the check, the manager told us we had disrespected her. She then proceeded to argue with my husband when he questioned this policy. She explained Busboys doesn't comp food for any reason. We don't give away food here." Our jaws dropped. "Oh, you don't want to pay? I'll take the plate. She reached over my husband and started to take my just-delivered plate away. We asked if the sandwich would be comped - everyone else was already done eating. Ten minutes later, the manager came with my plate. 15 minutes, my husband got up and went looking for the waiter. We were the only table seated in the dining room. One of the worst service experiences of my life and I have been to many restaurants.
